Grading in Bruin Learn
SpeedGrader & The Gradebook
SpeedGrader allows instructors to view and grade student assignment submissions in one place using a simple point scale or complex rubric.
The Gradebook helps instructors easily view and enter grades for students. Depending on the Grade display type, grades for each assignment can be viewed as points, percentages, complete or incomplete, GPA scale, or letter grade.
Set Up Weighted Grades
Bruin Learn has many tools to simplify grading and save time while providing students with meaningful feedback. Instructors can begin by setting up assignment groups with weighted grades.
Hide and Post Grades
Instructors can hide or post assignment grades in the Gradebook and SpeedGrader. First, determine the grade posting policy for the course: automatically, manually, or manual for individual assignments.
Grading Quizzes
Instructors can set graded quiz options, use a "Fudge Points" feature, and regrade student attempts.
