This resource hub is a compilation of help articles and guides designed to help instructors and staff learn how to use New Quizzes, a tool that allows instructors to deliver online exams in Bruin Learn.

How do I use the Resource Hub?
Information On-Demand
The modules are organized into publicly available guides that don't require you to log in or be enrolled. The resources walk you through the basics of using New Quizzes, such as creating and grading quizzes, choosing settings, and providing accommodations, as well as providing answers to common questions.
Full Training Course
You can also self-enroll into this hub, which gives you the Student role so you can:
- take sample quizzes, and do deeper dives on each New Quizzes topic, at your own pace
- submit questions or conversation topics in a community forum where you get help from academic technologists, instructional designers, and other instructors using New Quizzes
Sandbox
Additionally, you can request access to the New Quizzes Sandbox, where you will be given the Teacher role. It has demo student submissions, allowing you to moderate and grade quizzes. Email us at bruinlearn-support@it.ucla.edu with your UID to be added to the sandbox.
